For Wedding Receptions,
emcee and coordination services are standard. We ensure your event goes smoothly starting with the romantic first dance as
husband and wife; leading into a fun-filled Reception leaving your guests talking about your special day for years to come.
The
DJ will act as master of ceremonies, introducing the bridal party, as well as bride and groom to kick off the Reception. The
Reception is tailored to you, making the various appropriate announcements for the bride and groom's special dances,
such as first dance, parent's dances, bouquet toss/garter removal and toss; as well as all other appropriate formalities.
The DJ will also interface with your other reception
vendors, such as photographer, videographer and venue staff to ensure everyone is coordinated and in place for each milestone
event of the evening.
To help make your once in a lifetime event a memorable success, Star Mobile DJ's arrive
in the attire you choose, at least one hour prior to your designated start time to set up and perform a sound check. Also,
standard practice is to have backup amplifiers, microphones, and music brought along to every event. Our DJ's remain

"I would just
like to say thank you very much for doing such a nice job entertaining at our wedding. The planning paperwork was
such a great idea because it allowed us to mold the evening exactly how we envisioned it. And then, when certain wedding issues
changed the course of the night, you would always ask me if we were going to do the next scheduled event on time, as
per the planner, or if we wanted you to adjust a bit. It really kept the flow of the evening going smoothly and accounted
for little mishaps without anybody really noticing (like the best man spilling champagne on my gown right after his toast).
You played all of my "must have" songs, even the really old and lesser known ones, and took requests from guests.
It was a lot of fun, and the music and personality really made the night what it was.
Also, I know that when
planning a wedding, a lot of people say that "if you want quality, you really have to pay for it" and "the
more you spend, the better the vendor" and things like that, but I just want to say that your prices are great and so
is your quality. Almost all of the other D.J.s that I met with charged double or more than you (even the amateurs) and few
of them would travel to Washington Island and have to stay overnight, not to mention entertaining for over nine straight
hours! We were very pleased with your prices!"
